Web Developer / Designer (UAE Nationals Only)

Dubai Future Foundation is seeking Web Developers who can apply design thinking in the development of websites, newsletters, and email shots that are optimized for use on desktop, tablet and mobile phone devices. You will work with the design team to turn creative ideas into successful campaigns, websites and other digital assets that will address DFF’s overall business and communication objectives. You will be expected to fully manage all the websites under the DFF umbrella, from updating content and design, to developing new pages and monitoring website traffic flow.

What we are looking for

1. Ability to translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code, bringing the gap between graphic design and technical implementation and taking an active role on recommending and defining digital assets look and feel and functionality.
2. Responsible for writing and maintaining well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.
3. Manage the development of digital newsletters and email marketing campaigns, from concepts, design and implementation to monitoring, reporting and analysis.
4. Regular monitoring and updating of corporate and other brand websites through CMS and ensuring content updates are completed as per agreed timelines.
5. Analyze user experience and user journey, measuring performance and optimizing the sites based on ongoing learnings.
6. Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports.
7. Assist the marketing team with digital campaigns through the development of digital assets, such as email shots, newsletters, and web banners.
8. Manage and monitor the performance of digital campaigns against set KPIs.

Required Documents: CV & Portfolio of Work

1. Graduate in Computer Science, Web Development or related field with a minimum of 1 – 2 relevant work experience. (Web Development skills must be demonstrated with a strong portfolio of work).
2. Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
3. Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
4. Solid knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator, and skilled at converting layered design files into HTML/CSS or Drupal themes.
5. Understanding of effective front-end development techniques and tools.
6. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Arabic communication skills are a plus.
