This role is critical to strengthening Dubai’s intellectual property ecosystem and ensuring the effective management and utilization of IP assets.
It underpins operational excellence and drives the implementation of initiatives that foster innovation, commercialization, and protection of intellectual assets - contributing to Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for creativity and knowledge-based growth.
IP Hub Manager
As the IP Hub Manager, you will oversee the implementation and coordination of initiatives that strengthen Dubai’s intellectual property ecosystem, ensuring effective delivery across awareness, registration, commercialization, and enforcement domains.
The role focuses on driving operational excellence, digital enablement, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance the value and accessibility of IP-related services.
Your Responsibilities
• You will lead the implementation of an integrated IP management framework that supports filing, registration, enforcement, valuation, and commercialization processes
• You will coordinate with stakeholders to deliver efficient and user-centered IP services, ensuring sustained collaboration and alignment on ecosystem priorities
• You will support the development of digital tools that enhance access to IP information, streamline services, and improve user experience for applicants and stakeholders
• You will support the design and delivery of programs that encourage innovators and researchers to protect and commercialize their intellectual assets
• You will facilitate licensing and collaboration mechanisms between innovators, research institutions, legal advisors, and investors to promote IP utilization
• You will facilitate training, outreach, and knowledge-sharing activities to build IP awareness and capability within the innovation ecosystem
• You will monitor IP operations and program performance to identify trends, evaluate impact, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
• You will manage project plans, reporting, and governance processes to ensure timely and effective execution

Who we’re looking for?
• You will have minimum 6 years of professional experience, preferably in research, innovation, or ecosystem development
• You will have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Policy, International Relations, IP Management, or a related field
• You will have good understanding of intellectual property concepts, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and related IP principles
• You will have familiarity with IP processes such as registration, protection, and commercialization, as well as frameworks such as WIPO or UAE IP regime
• You will have proven ability to manage projects or coordinate across multiple stakeholders
• You will have strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus
