Where does this role fit into the bigger picture?
The Executive within the People & Culture team will report directly to the Head of People & Culture within the Corporate Affairs structure.


Corporate Affairs’ main objective is to enable the Dubai Future Foundation to deliver on its ambitions and initiatives by acting as a business partner and advisor, while also providing support to the different business units in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, Offices of the Future and Technology.

 

Executive – People & Culture

As an Executive within the People & Culture team, you will be responsible for managing various human resources functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. This position involves handling day-to-day HR tasks, supporting employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

 

HR Administration:
• You will develop, maintain, and continuously update employee records.
• You will manage formal documentation processes related to changes in employee statues, including but not limited to transfers, terminations.
• You will work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure all letter requests are actioned with the proper time frame, and with the utmost accuracy.
• You will support the HR Operations team in conducting the monthly payroll.
• You will ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

 

Onboarding:
• You will facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their new role.
• You will work closely for the Recruitment Team, IT Team, and Offices of the Future team to ensure all onboarding requirements and logistics are completed.

 

Employee Relations:
• You will address employee queries and concerns quickly and efficiently.
• You will assist in resolving any workplace issues.
• You will promote and foster the Dubai Future Foundation culture and a positive work environment.
• Support the HR Operations team with the Employee Wellness and Employee Engagement.

 

Benefits Administration:
• You will administer and manage the employee benefits program including but not limited to annual leave, insurance, education allowances, and the pension scheme.
• You will provide information to employees regarding benefits and resolve any questions they may have, or issues they may face.

 

HR Systems and Data Management:
• You will work closely with the other People & Culture team members to ensure all data required is entered correctly into the different systems.
• You will generate reports for HR Operations metrics and conduct analyses, when needed.
• You will say on top of new technological innovations related to HR and HR Operations.

 

Legal Compliance:

• You will stay informed about labor laws and regulations.
• You will ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements.

Skills Description

• As an Executive- People & culture, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role at a top local or international organization, with at least one year of experience working within employee engagement and/or employee wellness programs.

• You will be fluent in written and spoken Arabic & English, and be able to draft and review contracts and letters in both Arabic & English.
• You will have knowledge of HR principles, practices, and UAE labor laws.
• You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You will be detail-oriented and well-organized.
• You will have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• You will have extensive experience working with ERP systems.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• You will be proactive, and solutions oriented.
• You will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and be able to multitask.
• You will be adaptable and be able to work in a fast-paced, and dynamic work environment.
