Where Does This Role Fit Into the Bigger Picture?
The Graphic Designer – Special Projects reports directly to the Director – Special Projects and is part of DFF’s Special Projects team.
The Special Projects team is responsible for delivering high-profile initiatives, campaigns, and events that align with Dubai’s strategic vision. The team requires strong creative and visual support to communicate these efforts effectively to internal and external audiences.
The Role
As a Graphic Designer within the Special Projects team, you will bring a strong passion for creating visually engaging designs that effectively communicate DFF’s brand and messages across a portfolio of strategic and high-profile initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing a wide range of creative materials, including digital and social media graphics, event and campaign collateral, presentations, infographics, and other visual communications.
This role requires exceptional creativity, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of branding, visual communication, and marketing principles.
Key Responsibilities

Design creative and impactful graphic materials across multiple areas, including branding, layout design, digital newsletters, data-driven design, and infographics for the department’s special projects and initiatives.

Apply brand identity and design principles to ensure all creative outputs are aligned with DFF’s brand standards, visual identity, and messaging.

Collaborate with the Special Projects team and cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize and execute creative design concepts for key initiatives, campaigns, and events.

Research and incorporate current design trends and best practices to ensure DFF’s visual communication remains relevant, engaging, and innovative.

Develop high-quality visual assets for special projects, executive presentations, campaigns, events, and other strategic communications.

Prepare comprehensive design documentation, specifications, and guidelines to support consistency and effective implementation.

Apply Agile methodologies and structured project management approaches to manage multiple design projects and deliverables effectively.

Participate actively in team meetings, creative reviews, and feedback sessions, adapting quickly to changing priorities across multiple concurrent special projects.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and best practices in graphic design.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, iterations, approvals, and changes.

المهارات
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and design capabilities.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.

Strong understanding of branding, layout, colour theory, and typography across both digital and print media.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
-
Familiarity with web design and multimedia content development is an advantage, including animation and Generative AI tools.

Good understanding of marketing and advertising principles and their application to visual communication.

Experience working within Agile development environments is an advantage.
-
Experience in developing and designing Arabic content is preferred.
